Our Purpose
We exist to glorify God by faithfully preaching His Word, leading people to Christ, building believers in their faith, and helping families live for the Lord.
Our History
Mambajao Bible Baptist Church began on October 2, 2002, with the arrival of Brother El Ross Saberola. Sent out by Bible Baptist Church Gingoog City, he began the work as Mambajao Bible Baptist Mission in Mambajao, Camiguin Island, Philippines. Soulwinning and door-to-door evangelism started promptly after his arrival on the island.
With little funds and a big dream, the mission grew from a single family to roughly four families in five years. On October 2, 2007, Mambajao Bible Baptist Mission organized into Mambajao Bible Baptist Church, with Pastor Diego Caballero of Bible Baptist Church Gingoog City serving as guest speaker.
After five years of changing meeting places, the church settled in Comon, Poblacion, Mambajao, Camiguin, where it remained for around 16 years. During this time, Pastor Saberola married Ma'am Nelly Jane Arellano Saberola in February 2013. They were blessed with two sons, Marcus Gabriel, born in September 2013, and Lucas Daniel, born in January 2017.
The church continued to expand its ministry. In 2016, it sent Missionary Algon De Los Santos to lead a mission outreach in Barangay Yumbing, Camiguin, which officially launched on December 9, 2018. The church also ordained Pastor Arnold De Los Santos as assistant pastor in 2018.
When the COVID-19 pandemic reached the Philippines in 2020, in-person services were temporarily suspended. Pastor Saberola adapted by streaming services on Facebook Live, and when door-to-door evangelism was prohibited, he shifted to open-air evangelism across the island. As restrictions eased, the church resumed face-to-face services.
On October 2, 2024, the church relocated to a larger, more spacious building in Quiboro, Poblacion, Mambajao. In 2025, Yumbing Bible Baptist Mission organized into Yumbing Bible Baptist Church. In 2026, Mambajao Bible Baptist Church began a weekly soulwinning outreach in Cabuan, Gunsiliban, Camiguin, with prayer and preparation toward an official outreach there in 2027.
The Lord has continually blessed this ministry through every challenge. The congregation remains committed to serving Him faithfully while awaiting His return.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
